Question helmet chip fix please

Looks like I got a nice chip in my nice new Soumy Spec lid, about the size of a pencil eraser, just above the visor and dead center.

All the paint is gone in this little area, looks like a sharp rock or something hit it, or I was shot with a bb gun.

Is there anything I should put on the spot to prevent more paint from flaking off/should I fill it with something?

It's just a little chip, but I'd like to keep it from expanding since it's a brand new lid, and I really like to keep my stuff in good condition.

TIA,Jeremy

edit: if this belongs in gear, just move it please, thanks.

sticker would work.
Ive used clear nail polish for a quick fix on a helmet knick/ding before. Worked fine to keep it from spreading.

I had not thought of a sticker, but let's save that.

I was thinking a clear filler exactly like nail polish, but I want to be sure it is safe for the plastic.

Yeah, just for your piece of mind, I have used clear nail polish on a shoei, and HJC and an Icon. NO dammage or otherwise harmful effects came as a result of putting a little nail polish on there
