FATAL ACCIDENT ON HONEA EGYPT
Filed Sat, Feb 20, 2010 by Scott Engle

Honea Egypt Road at Crown Oaks has just reopened at 4:15pm following a fatal accident this afternoon.
Shortly before 3 pm a Suzuki motorcycle was southbound on Honea Egypt at a high rate of speed. As as the Montgomery man approached the curve just past Crown Oaks he attempted to brake unsuccessfully, running off the road, through a wire fence breaking off one of the posts and uprooting another.
Montgomery County EMS arrived on the scene to find the male in traumatic arrest.
He was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to Trooper Alders the odor of alcohol was detected on his breath and a 12 ounce can of beer was found on his person. In addition hospital personnel did find two small plastic bags of marijuana was also found on his person.
Tommy’s Wrecker removed the motorcycle from the scene.
The name will be released as soon as next of kin are notified.

MORE DETAILS AND VIDEO WILL BE POSTED THIS EVENING

huh, I wonder how that works? Maybe your sober reflexes are jacking with you, or perception is altered. We may never know.

Oh, never mind I think you are in jest.

Thats unfortunate.

Even worse we will see more and more threads as people become riders this year, convincing their loved ones its an economical choice. All the idiocencries will come out more and more as mentioned above too.

Its hard to argue a wreck on that road; the whole thing is posted 35mph w every corner posting 10-15mph corners.
