thats why dragsters that run 4's in the 1/4 use top fuel or alcohol
they either have a engine tuned for high octane or run oxygenated fuel

but in your stock bike you will get more power from 87 then you will 110

back to my problem....
i removed the air filter to check for obstruction nothing there.
I started the bike and reved the throadle and the problem stayed the same, it would not return to idle quickly.
I rode the bike for severals days putting 50 + miles and the problem is still the same.
I will take it to a mechanic...
anybody has someone honest in mind...?

We've got a lot of experience with Ninja 250's.
If it hasn't been sitting up for a long time it's probably a simple fix. Bring it by and we'll check it out real quick.

First of all let me ask you this : Did this happen something like this : you ran out of gas, put it to reserve - then rode to a gas station, filled up with 87 gas. And then rode home, and then next day the problem started? Anything like that at all?

What ever you do, do not put anything but 87 in your bike. I cant lay enough emphasis on that, nothing but 87 should go in that bike, your compression ratios are less and only 87 will perform better. If you put 93 or something higher, your not doing any good to the engine, or the gas mileage or your wallet!

This bike is not fuel injected. And your idle should stay between 1250-1500 on that bike always.

If it is under warranty, go get it fixed through them. Give Kawasaki a call (713-783-3844) and give em your VIN number to see if it is still under warranty if your not sure and you bought it from an individual.

Basically from your previous posts, i take it you have collected trash in your carbs (but i think its too early for an 06) that's why i ask if it happened something like the above incident. If so all you need is a $100 rejetting of the carbs. I know a shop that'll do it for that much, but its a 2 cyclinder bike and almost any shop should be able to do it, but dont get ripped by anything over $150 of a job!

Hope all that helps.
