While surfing the net....
I found this to be a little intresting being that I own a 2009 R1. It seems the problems associated with the Power Commander V and the R1 are becoming more and more persistent.
According to Factory Pro:
"As of Feb 2010, after tuning several R1' - the PCV is currently not recommended as a tuning device.
Experienced problems included inconsistent low rpm tuning settings (i.e. it "was too rich, then 30 minutes later it was too lean) and inconsistent rpm readout. There have been other problems reported when promoting maps to advanced."
Wow. Looks like my decision for the Bazzazz may have been a good one. Wierd though being I never had any issues with my 2005 Honda 600RR. And even still the model I had was for a later year (2004). Dynojet were nice enough to email me a custom map which worked fine.
Have any of you that have a 2009 R1 had any issues with the PCV as indicated by Factory Pro?
Hitting more corners than drunk drivers with more lean than DJ Screw (RIP).
