Opinions on best race plastics??

I have a buddy that is interested in buying some race plastics...what is everyone's opinions on best brand and getting the best bang for your buck?? I have heard that the shark skinz are the way to go, but everyone has their opinions and I would love to hear them. He has my old '06 r6, and I may sometime this year be looking for some for my '06 gsxr 1k. Not sure if some brands fit better than others (have read some people have trouble getting their plastics to fit properly).

Check with TomLSTD, he has great info on all types of plastic. If I was going to buy race plastics I would get the attacks, which is what I had on my old 06 R6. From my understanding they are easier to crash and repair in compairson to others, but there was some other brands that Tom tried out that he said where close to compairable. So might do a search on MH for race plastics.

Optimal is decent for the price, I wasnt impressed with the the fit on my 06 gsxr 600.. a buddy of mine has them on his 08 cbr 600 and it's about the same story.. they work.

Attack or Sharkskins.
you can't beat the fit and finish and they crash well and are easily repaired.
You get what you pay for.
