Do you carry an insurance kit?

If you do, what does it consist of? I'm going to start carrying a disposable camera and notepad with pen/paper in a ziploc bag.

I thought about that, but the quality of most phone pics suck... especially in the dark.

Correct my good man. I used to carry a disposable in my trunk not for insurance purposes, but just to have one on rides. Needless to say, it didn't hold up so well during the summer.

I have an ins card I carry. No room for anything besides my stock toolkit on my bike. So hopefully my cell will hold up. It's 1.3megapixels and has a flash, so it'll prolly be okay.

Carry a camera. Its worth it. This weekend on the way out to the hill country a truck backed into our bikes while they were parked and knocked one over while pulling out of his spot. When my buddy whipped out a camera his tone changed alot and he realized we weren't some punks who were trying to scam him out of some cash.

Anyone carry a kit for emergency like a camera, insurance info card?
I have one in both car and truck but not the bike.

I can't relay HOW MUCH OF A GOOD IDEA THIS IS FOR ALL VEHICLES IN THE H/H. I recommend this to all of my customers!!!!

U have an accident, before u move the cars, get out and snap a picture (safely that is). Snap a pic of where u were coming from any pertinant signage. Pic of their damage, your damage, their driver if possible.

ALSO don't fail to get ALL of their insurance and dl info. Policy number, name of company/agent, telephone number to file a claim with, name of driver, owver of car, address, dl#, phone numbers. BETTER YET FILE THE CLAIM FROM THE SCENE, so u know then and there that u have all the info u need.
