Did ya figger it out yet? I ended up getting the pro-2052 base station. I thinks I got it down now.

Been listening to both police and air, but I think I'm gonna need an external antanae. At first I could hear both the planes and the tower at IAH, but now I can only hear the planes. Not sure why.

As far as trunk scanning. This page had everything I needed as far as frequencies and talkgroups: http://www.radioreference.com/module...e=TRSDB&sid=38

All I did was select a bank (bank 3 in my case which starts at ch 101) selected trunking, set type e2-800 (for motorola type II), entered the frequencies, about 8 of 'em. and tada.. it was trunk scanning, but I was listening to waay too much . So I used the list and found the talkgroups for anything with Humble, Atascocita, and Harris country Pct 4 and got the talkgroup id's.

On my scanner, each trunk scanning bank lets you have 5 lists of talkgroups, with each list having up to 10 ids.. So using the ol des/instructions, I manually programmed the talkgroup ids.. Humble in list 1, atascocita in 2 and Pct 4 in Group 3. Tada!

I set up my aviation stuff on bank 2 starting at ch 51.. Now I can toggle banks 2 and 3 on/off or leave 'em both on and listen to all of it. Also you can toggle the individual lists on/off .
