alpine fit?

ok i got a new set of alpine smx5 vented, and well i am an 11-11.5 in sneekers , and i have had alpine boots befor , not race boots, any how they wher 44= 9.5 or so, so i know they run a little big so i thought i would get 45=10.5 , they seam to fit well / snug , but the heal seams a little loose,

so i ask how are race boots sapose to fit , snug all the way around?

should i get a smaller size? i would think they woud be to tight , or should i just put some insole heals in them and see how that works !

any input !

Must be shape of foot. I wear 10.5 and got 45s and they fit perfect. I'd try thicker Motocross Socks or insoles, like you suggested.

I have the exact same question, SMX vented just feels a little weird , I mean they are confi (47)but i think I should go for a smaller size(46)for a snug fit. but feels like they will be too tight and my toes will be all crushed.

Same for me. 10.5 shoe. 44 boots. Fit perfectly. Mine are Teknic Chicanes, though.
