My nuts still get smashed. They are great for long trips though. It's the hard stops that suck.

I am gonna 2nd the FZ1 recommendation.
It's fast, comfy AND handles pretty good. The passenger accomodations are comfortable enough for at least an hour or 2 and the front seat is good for several hours.
IMHO it's mislabled as a naked bike because the fairing, while small, gives decent coverage. It really helps on those days when your out past dark and it gets colder than you thought it was going to.

What did Coach ride? a ZZR1200 or something?

Any larger cruiser w a banana seat puts the passenger at nearly the same riding height as the rider will help. When they sit inches above the rider they need to bend over to hold on etc.

I've done around 15k on the busa w a passenger on backroads/long rides w no complaints other then the exhaust turning the rear seat into a vibrator over 8krpms.

Z1000....
I didn't think much of them until I rode one. I couldn't own one because it would definately get me arrested.

Could also check out the new V Max. That engine is bad to the bone. I read that it is restricted down to 200hp or something like that.

04+ VFR 800.

A good buddy has one with a Corbin seat and a backrest for the passenger. That thing has a lot of power, very comfortable, and can rail if you wanted it to. You won't be disappointed.

Good suggestions

Consider thinking more of what you want and a little less of her comfort.
Remember if she is real comfortable she may want to go on every ride.
on every ride.on every ride.on every ride.on every ride.

So unless you have another outlet.
