yep, everytime I ride. I ask for protection, and for him ( ) to open the eyes of the other drivers so that they may see me.

After he stood my bike back up when I locked the front wheel a few weeks back, I've been thanking him for safe trips when I get where I'm going.

I have a ritual of sorts. Basicly it has to do with checking things over and getting geared up a certain way to gain piece of mind. Then I clear my mind completely and get on the bike.

I do prey for ALL who attend the trackdays the night before, I always have my Saint Christophers pendant while riding. This was given to me years ago when a fellow biker had an unfortunate accident and lost his life.

Lol...you a pilot? We would always joke like that when starting up my dad's truck, the boat, my bike, etc....either that or "clear prop". ha ha

I pray everynight for the safety of myself and my loved ones and truly hope the Lord will protect me at ALL times and not just on the bike.

+1 I do the same thing.

But before I ride I usually ask that the lord protect me on the this trip and please protect all those around me...influence/guide my decisions in a way that most represents how you () would want me to live.

:laughing6 Man there is some good stuff on here...LOL.
Me, well if I am not riding with him I will usually either kiss the visor on his helmet and pray silently (because we believe differently) That ALWAYS returns him home safe to me, lets him have an awesome ride and keeps a hedge of protection all around him at all times. Or I tap the tail of the bike, say the same prayer and tell the bike to "take care of him". If we have been fighting I will secretly go out and kiss the gas tank and say my prayer. It would destroy me if I lost him for any reason, especially on a bike without me there after some stupid fight.
For myself...If I had a chatterbox there would be some stories to tell.LOL:laughing6 . I will tap the tank and tell the bike "all right baby here we go, time to ride hard and ride safe... remember - EVERYONE out there is out to kill you" then I pray that I always return home safe to my kids and Noctem so I can ride again tomorrow. Then I pray almost continually throughout the ride, this is where there would be stories... such as "Oh put your hand on that crazy idiot who just passed me in my lane, on a wheelie doing 130mph" (this has happened) and such. I always pray for all the riders around me in hopes I will never have to be the one holding a dying friend or praying over a dead loved one.
But one thing I never fail to do whether anyone is riding or not... Any time I go into the garage I make sure to say " hey boys, I sure do miss you" to the bikes, after all they are all a part of me. I have shed blood (scratches/nicks/cuts) working on each of them. And yes, I gave them a gender LOL:icon_bigg
