Most of those are way to luxurious. I would want something that looks nice but is also highly functional. I wouldn't dare do so much as change my oil in most of those garages in that link.

Two story with lift and full entertainment room upstairs with MIL quarters (incl full bath). It turned out nice and cost less than $20K all in a master planned community.
I checked. PB account needs updating. But very nice!

This is going to be cool to see develop - but I can't see how you can get that done for $60k with all the hardware and lifts... maybe the wood shell/slab/windows, and 2nd floor framing... but I think a decent sized metal hull building costs that much alone, doesn't it?

Of course it depends on how big you are going to go, but a single window unit doesn't cover that much space... I think they're only good for 1 or 200 s.f.

You could always build it yourself! that would save a ton!

Wow! Sorry about that.

I have done a lot of work on the links and have an active slideshow just on the garage. The below link will get you there.

go with 20' roll up doors that are pulled up or down by a chain...any type of swinging door warps too bad

and have them on both sides...i.e. don't build the garage butted up against your fence or property line...you'll want to be able to drive completely through it like a horshoe driveway

I did both of these on my build. Air circulation is important during the summer and the roll-up doors on the back work well.
