Your prolly right. refresh the fluids, change the spark plug, & dunk your carb in seafoam and let it sit overnight.

2 weeks is plenty of time to get the drz situated for dirt again. have some mod projects i've been putting off. Maybe this will light a fire under my to get 'em done.

Clutches are cake

The key is soaking the plates in clean oil you normally use before you install them.

pimpdaub, there would probably be too many drunk chefs in the kitchen haha

Well if I can get a ride out there.
I would be more than willing to let and help tinker with it.

Just a suggestion... but if its still 2-3 weeks away, that should be plenty of time to get that puppy fired up. If you had a running bike, other ppl on here might be more eager to give ya a lift too instead of hauling a paperweight 2 places (if it cant be fixed out there, hauling it back).

If i knew anything bout 2 smokers i'd lend a helping hand but i'm afraid i'd do more worse than good.

How do you know it's not fork oil leaking down the tube collecting near the brake and tire? That's pretty common on an MX bike. On the same token, if that's the case, leaking fork oil probably got onto your brake pads. Fork oil destroys your brake pads. They are now . That will make it feel like you lost half of your braking power.

If it's actually your brakes, check your seals/ o-rings on the brake system and check your reservior and see if you are actually losing fluid. Clean the caliper and make sure it's dry.. Start pumping the front brake to see if you can find where the leak is coming from.

That would be a start anyway. THEN when your bike is fixed, bring it out!
