You know
I'm not sure what that really entitles.
Or if it puts a good or bad rep on the forum?

(please bear with me,..but just keeping my brain busy....some or all of this may not be necessary. i want to see my kids and about to go nuts... the mind flourishes to information overload while things are fresh.)

at the moms now, will only write up what i can. i will post pics later, and talk about how it happened. for now, just my aftermath issues.

the sore/stiffness is coming in, while i am guessing the shock is starting to wear off. I am REALLY surprised my cellphone made it (for me to post help originally here) cause it was sitting in my front pocket only a few inches where i have strawberries on my hip now.

human damage- nothing torn or cut. no IMMEDIATE damage that i am aware of, but here are some things setting it that i may be watchful over

-back of head starting to pound, but full mobility, nothing PAINFUL..just a throb. (and as of now the front of my head as well)
-hit or slid on my hip at one point. just a baby strawberry. i think my son has had worse.
-right palm near wrist took a good pounding (errr.wrong choice of words!)
-left hands fingers feel like they were flexed backwards a bit.
-upper back is pretty tender near base of neck.
-right knee hurts, but no injury per se
-left cheek /hip is now in some pretty good pain.

will see how it goes in the morning.. (for the record, i basically was flipping backwards head over heels, and/or rolling, but the impacts kept arriving at same spot. base of neck/shoulder, flip. repeat, flip, repeat, flip flip...slide..

GEAR FOR THE WIN

scorpion helmet- glad I wear my lids very tight. during the whole process, even during the fairly violent base of head/back of head hits (X3 of them..each in different directions) was it ever "uncomfortable". (lol go figure) i remember the severe jolt of the impacts, but inside was nice and cushy. my concern while tumbling was
1st hit. OH ....how many more..
2nd hit.. that was in the same spot
3rd hit..how many times can a helmet take an impact in the same spot, and feel so "good"?..hope i dont hit there again. WHY IS MY CROTCH IN MY VISOR???

funny what you see super super fast, remember in slow motion.

so the helmet has 3 good concrete blows, plus some "sanding" elsewhere. the good news? the gopro camera never came off. (no i wasnt recording at the time :( )
-shell "delamination"? at base/backside of the 3 impacts. nice initial impact gouges are deepest, with sliding action ground it down some.
-missing a left exhaust vent cover
-very minor sanding on right cheek area
-visor looks good, and stayed on

I can vouch for SCORPION EXO 400 HELMETS > on sale now at cycle gear..just thought id pass that out...and i am an ARAI man) it did its job, and comfortably saved my life. not once, but 3 times, all in very close impact proximities

helmet despite its shape ...is not reusable. will send to scorpion for future database/testing along with my "THANK YOU"

scorpion jacket:

-good abrasion at top of shoulder on right side, one whole "strip" of padding across the shoulder is ground down, a second strip got it pretty good. it looks like "fluff" exploded on my shoulder.

- minor scuffing on the upper back section, but very light..

-right forearm has heavy abraded stitching, and ground down some of the fabric for the armor, but is intact, and still in place.

-a few other odds-n-ends but nothing i can think of (its at my house, where i am not) all in all.

the jacket is intact, and "reusable".....just a little ugly, but not too bad. but as with the hekmet will resend to scorpion for product database/testing

FRANK THOMAS gloves:

-tiny bursting on right hand side pinky

-thick palm "pad" near wrist ground down past past additional "carpet" hook/n/loop" layer, the actual leather layer, but the padding is mildy worn. (impact/blow..is obvious why it hurts)

-carbon knuckles are shattered/ground down, pretty good, but not past/below the outer protective "clear coat" area.. i forget what its called.

-minor tear on the wrist closure
...a few other spots, but again i dont have em with me, just going by photos, and early look over.

gloves are intact, and reusable.....but again, all my gear is going back to manufactures for future testing.results

EVS KNEE/SHIN protectors.

- I THANK motohouston for this. if i had never saw the kneepad thread, i wouldnt have a knee right now. guaranteed.
heavy, HEAVY abrasion on the knee cup, with smaller mild sandings lightly around.

kneepads are intact overall.

jeans...
6 holes starting at my shin, going to my knee, then working to side of thigh, then at hip, just below belt.

ill include pics/situation later. im going to go soak. i saw my kids faces. every birthday..without me. thats a feeling. getting pancakerized didnt scare me , but the previous thought did.

lol....actually yeah, i was just looking into that possibility. I need to look at some other issues as well, due to life events. more than likely i will be giving you a pm in the next few days, and see what options to go with.

thanks for the heads up tho!
