keeping leather clean?

Is there a sealer or something to put on your leathers, boots, and gloves to keep them nice? I sold all my old gear and bought new sidi vertigo boots, dianese full metal racer gloves and Alpinestars trigger 1pc. Everything is white leather so I would like to keep it white and not let it get nasty after 2 trackdays. I heard to spay it all with scotchguard is that ok to do?

the only thing I have is over the winter I decided to try the beez wax water/snow proofing on my boots.

You heat up the leather with a blow drier, and rub the wax in. It soaks up, and harddens and makes the leather absolutly waterproof. I couldn't believe how well it worked. Plus, they stayed nice and shiney. It workes way better than silicone imho. I'd worry about the colors running with that spray because of the solvents in it, but I don't know for sure.

Were your boots still soft or did they become hard?

Still soft, as soft or softer that befor the applicaiton.

Don't apply unless the leather is clean.

I just tossed my boots in the oven for a few min on a low setting, but if you try this be careful, I tourched a pair of pants trying to dry them in the oven when I didn;t have a drier.

The wax, at room temp is about the consistancy of toothpaste or vasoline, maybe a little thinner. It's not hard wax liek you may be expecting.

I bought it at Academy.
