Cops using Youtube and networking sites

Read the 7th paragraph. This is why the Mexico trip got out of hand.

In January, police in Chattanooga, Tenn., discovered an online forum in which local residents were planning illegal drag races, department spokeswoman Rebecca Royval said. Officers staked out an area where a drag race was expected and ticketed four racers caught in the act.

Pretty much.

Cant say I feel bad for them; they were posting on an online forum. If they didnt the story would be "stupid cops took me to jail for illegal street racing." ....'were you racing illegally?'......"well.... but...."

Nothing new... It happens in swarms. We got busted about 6 years ago in Long Island NY. It was over 30 cars that got ticketed. We did not get home til 4 am due to the fact we were # 27 on the get a ticket line.

10+ years ago about 60 cars were blocked in in Channel View. We all got tickets for spectating a drag race. I fought it and easily won. They swarmed before the cars were off the trailers. lol. Those fuggers came from all angles.

Hence the cancellation of Mexico. Too many peeps getting too involved in the planning of the location ahead of time. It may be on later without so much publicity.

I like the videos on YT of "somewhere in mexico" or "computer generated" street racing as they pass the freeways sign easily legible.
