For the price of the magnifier I would rather have a less expensive low power scope, 3 gun setup I suppose... The Eotech is just badass though, I have the 512 version and just replaced cheap-o AA batteries after a few months of usage. I have the RRA Dominator BUIS mount for the Eotech, the cowitnessing is AWESOME and very handy when needed... Thinking of installing a NM apperture for longer range work as well, scopes add weight and bulkness. I do miss the carry handle but replaced it with a 3pt sling, probably switch it to a single point in the near future... Is that a OA93 or a Carbon-15? Rumor has it that the Carbon-15 has reliability issues after high round counts...

How do you like that quadrail on the M4? I was looking into it for easy installation but leaning more towards the Daniels Defense version for lighter weight. As for the Bipod, is it really needed with the forend grip? Grab another LONG range AR platform to mount it too. Also I have noticed that somebody makes a snap-on storage compartment for the OEM collapsible buttstock and costs $20 compared tot eh $180 VLTOR clubfoot... Don't get me wrong I also like my VLTOR but a $160 savings is much nicer. Makes me want to post pics of my AR-10, M4.. (M4 short range <500yds, AR-10/AE <1k yds, AR-30M < 1800yds)

A chick that rides a bike, drives a VW, shoots, and... WOW!

I guess i never saw the use in having an assualt rifle with all those toys and just taking it to the range. For the money invested into a AR-15 like that you can just as easily get a good Mach Grade Rifle. Now i know you say that the AR-15 format is more versitile and a more durable weapon, but my question simply is. How many jungles or deserts are you gonna trek through to get to your local range? Those weapons are made for one thing and one thing only. KILLING, And realisticly Killing People, the 5.56 round is all good and well for killing people. It has a good range, its lightweight, and you can produce them for just about 7 cents a pop. The 5.56 is extremely underpowered in regards to killing game. Sure you can kill a deer or pig with it, but thats kinda stupid to pay that much money for a weapon when you can get a higher powered rifle with a better scope for less money. Kinda goin off on a rant here but it kinda irks me when I see people with assualt rifles decked out in full battle dress and then talk about the "AWESOME" time they had at the range shooting paper. Or some fool flagging the out of his neighbors truck just to show people his cool new toy. Whether the weapon is loaded or not doesnt matter. There have been thousands of people killed with "unloaded" weapons.
I dont know, some guy having a weapon like that is kinda like throwin an Escalade on super swampers and then driving it to get groceries and pick up the kids from soccer practice. Ok, I'll shut up now.
