I had some on my bike. I took them off and replaced them because you can't see past your shoulders. I wouldn't recommend them for daily riding.

I actually own the pig spotter 2's. they do suck as far as u can't see out of them. I didn't use the stock ones much, I always did head checks anyways so adjusting for me wasn't to bad. As for everyone saying they are for posers that's just BS, the only posing I do is turning around to wait for everyone to catch up. I've found out that there are only two kinds of peeps on this issue, the ones who absolutly love them, and the ones that absolutly hate them. I've had them on my bike for almost 2years and 18,000 miles. All in all "to each, his own". Oh and just for the record I would have no mirros at all if that were legal.

i understand that you turn your head. I always do for turns, lane changes, etc. The only thing is that I like to see what's happening behind me ALL the time. I cant keep turning my fat around every 10 seconds (about how much I check my mirrors) to see what is happening. You can never see TOO much out there, especially in Houston.

I didn't think that it was illegal not to have mirrors. Because they sell block offs.

From my understanding If its on the bike it has to be fully functional( not defective, or broken). If its not on the bike then you don't have to worry. With the exception of lights.

Can some one confirm this?

You have to have at least one mirror in Texas.

since you can't actually use the mirrors, would you still need to take them off for a track day?
