Loving my R6. That would be my choice. Had a 93 GSXR 750 that was stolen years ago. Did me a favor that thing was in the shop a lot.

If it's commuting and a little bit of twisties then maybe you should think about a naked bike. They are a of a lot more comfortable and some handle just as well as their clip-on sporting counterparts. Maybe an SV650, FZ6, Street triple, Monster, or something like that. Even an SV1000 would be a good choice. It's a v-twin liter bike but they aren't too ridiculously fast. Not like a Duc 1098 v-twin. These would make commuting more comfortable. The motocross style handlebars give you great leverage and you can slice and dice through rush hour much easier than with clip ons. You can take them on a track as well. In my own personal humble opinion, naked bikes are the way to go if you can only have one bike because they do it all.

the 06 636 has problems with the shifter forks.. the 04-05 zx10 have generator problems.. supposedly the newer ones have fixed such problems. personally ive never been a kawi fan. ive never owned a honda, but ive ridden several and love them. ive been a suzuki fan too. ridden a few r6's and wasnt a huge fan, but a lot of my friends are really happy with them..

if was buying a 600 right now and they were all in the same ball park price and stock.. it'd be a tough decision between honda and suzuki for me.

go to a shop. sit on all of them. see which one feels the best to you and do some research
