Up for sale is an XS 400 (xs400) similar to the XS 650 (xs650) but slightly smaller engine obviously. It was running a bit ago and was riding it around College Station, then one day it would not start any more. I cant figure it out, but I am not a motorcycle mechanic either. It has a working starter, new battery, and new points and a new fuse box. Everything else was as I had it when it was runnning. Anyways, it cranks over and the spark plugs have a faint blue spark, but maybe it is not enough to make ignition.

Bike is a 1978. Hopefully the pictures will do the talking on the condition of the bike. All the parts are there.

Let me know if you are interested. 979-739-2064. Josh

my first bike was something like this I got a 73cb350 for 500 bucks and my dad road it from west houston to the south side and the thing barely ran at first hehe, but then we fixed it up some and thats what i learned on. Loved the bike although getting up to about 40 on a busy street and watching a light turn red those breaks ... left something to be desired of lol they were terrible i slid into many an intersection when I was a nooob :P

i had the 82 xs 400. with full "WINDJAMMER" fairing

the kids in highschool on the other bikes (SRX 250, ninja 250, ZX-7, interceptor 250, and original honda HURRICANE) ALLLL laughed at me when we were going home...

till i slipped in CD in my 4 speaker CD/tape player combo the previous owner installed

"but i got TUNES!" cranked it up, and rolled out with my girl on back.

now that i think about it........i think the best music at the time was "rick roll" so its was stil quite laughable meh. i got laid.

man. do i want 2 bikes, or 1 nice sv?
i have a lot of time at work where nothing is going on. this question keeps making it's rounds through my head. i want the bike, but i dont want to go cheap on the sv, and i dont want to spend more than i had originally intended on just my sv.
man, life is hard (lol)
