They do have some new ones out. They look good. I have a 003 usoft now, Its not a cornering tire by any means. Its the drag tire. The others I have had in the past would break loose in corners too easily.

190/50 u-soft 003 drag but I have a bt16 for the street. Sometimes I don't take the time to swap them out and the shinko grips well, just takes more to turn on

1.) Shinkos don't last.
2.) Not meant or made for a cornering. Even if you can corner them thats neither here nor there. My cruiser isn't made for heavy corning even though i can force it to do what I want, doesn't mean i should.
3.) Not made for your day to day use
4. Only good for smoking tires
5. If everyone who drag races use them at somepoint.(when their broke.) It tells you what their main purpose is for
6. BTO 016 180/55 breakn loose would only happen most likley under these conditions.
A. They were worn out.
B. The tire wasn't heated up enough before the turn.
C. You were driving on bad road. or weather conditions
D. You were on throttle to hard in the turn, thus drifting it.
E. your driving a heavy bike Busa, ZX14

I would put BTO16 against any tire except CorsaIII or supercorsas. Im not saying their better I just mean they will match up to the best of them. Especially for cornering.

Am I far from the truth anyone?

true, however the 16 grip like mthr fkr in the turns. You should try it sometime. your bike was made for more than racing.

I didn't know tires were gear.

Do you wear them around your waist in case you fall off?
