Thumbs down So...how about that rain?

Watch the news last night and today was supposed to be NO rain. Then I wake up this morning and they say it was 20% chance of rain. Well I leave Texas City to Clear Lake for gym (no rain) and then Clear Lake to 59/Beltway 8 to eat with LOTS of miserable, cold wet rain More rain on the way back to Clear Lake to pick up my from gym and now everything that was once clean is now dirty

But I survived lol

Rain + SW drivers + Lunch Traffic + new tires installed last night = no bueno.

Anyone else ride today thinking there would'nt be any rain? I heard there are/were a lot of bikes @ UH so I know I am not alone...

Well I rode last night and there was on/off rain from Texas City to 59/Beltway 8 area where I went to eat dinner. I have been in College Station all week and just got home yesterday so I was eager to change my rear tire and go for a ride, and today is my only day off til I have to go back to work for 2 weeks. I was willing to chance it since I have only 1 day to really go ride but ...it rained more today than it did yesterday!

Dude i've been screwed over by weather.com so much its ridiculous, one time i went to UH on my bike and i swear on weather.com it said 0% chances of rain and what do you know, it rained and i don't mean sprinkles.. ever since then i just go with my instincts. Rain doesn't bother me but unfortunately my backpack was not waterproof.

I had mixed feelings about riding this morning. Good thing I didnt. Started misting 20 mins after I left home and started pouring 30 after that :(

At least it dried up after 4ish. I was able to change the tires of the AE82
