I can see what's behind me in the bar end mirrors, but I have to look down- I can't just glance with my eyes. But I'm getting more used to it everyday.

I was thinking about this geometry you and everybody speak of - it's just not so in my case.

Picture this: I am 60" tall. My inseam is 29", my head approx 7" and my neck probably 3" - leaving only 21" for my entire body. So, my shoulders sit about 19 inches off the seat. The rear of my bike is dropped 2" AND my seat is shaved another 2", meaning that my bars are already 2" taller compared to my seat than 'yours' (in general), and maybe more due to the lower rear end. I do not have to hunch over to reach the bars, nor am I uncomfortable riding in that position. Look again and the pictures and you'll get an idea of what I'm talking about.

No. Surely there can't be another SV in the world that looks like mine, much less here in Houston, TX. I'd have to re-do everything.

Question: Those headlights. Did they come with the blade connector that goes into the control box or did you have to cut the ends and put factory specific connectors on it? I am rebuilding my zzr and I would love those headlights on my build.

I find the SV fits me weird. I'm 5'9 and have a 35.5 inch inseam. I'm probably related to an ostrich. It makes sense why I was the state crew champ. I had a lot more travel to put down power per weight.

I think that being leaned forward is more comfortable, though. I was hugging the tank all the way back from dallas.

The headlamps were a complete set with brackets! As far as I know they were very simple to attach.

When I have time (after exams this week, and finals Monday) I will find the website and link - I love them!

sorry about that. The blue caps are probably covering up the blades that I have to plug into the control module.

Last question

i want to swap out my gauges. They have this really bad one that has a gas gauge and oil temp and red line display. How in the do figure out which wire to hook up to the back of the gauges?

Problem w swaps is the resistance readings from the sensors. Some may not be accurate since the gauges are expecting to see a certain resistance-to-sweep measurement.

Just keep that in mind.

I find when you're doing big projects like that, the simplier the better for longterm headaches.

Is there anyway to put a different capacitor or something in the circuitry so I can shoot out the right resistance?
