motorcycle (sportsbike) rental in san diego, CA

Does anyone know where, or even if, they rent motorcycles in San Diego. I'm looking for a 600rr to rent while i'm in cali for a week. yes i've googled, but i want to know if anyone has experience with doing this as well. what are the range of rates, any limits on mileage, reputable place to rent from? Any positive imput would be greatly appreciated

I know cruisers can be rented but Im never heard about sportbikes.

i was hoping you're respond...i know they rent ducs, but i dont wanna pay an arm and a leg and be limited to 50 miles.

I've never used these guys but...

they have a variety and offer 150 miles a day as standard. If I were you I would try riding another sport bike (DUCATI) instead of renting what you already own. Variety is the spice of life

i'm very tempted to, BUT the last thing i wanna do is wreck the dern thing...i dont wanna really be learning a new bike and driving down the 101 at the same time next to those cliffs. im sure i'll be tempted more when i get there and see it's $225 a day for the duc

any place near san diego you'd recommend? just looking for a nice scenic route with some good turns preferrably on the coast

Specifically not San Diego... I lived at the foot of MtDiablo; so highway 1, MtDiablo itself are the areas I know well. There was a large group online called something like SoCalMC(motocommunity) and they would have routes posted on their site etc.

They would be the equivalent of an MH group
