Yeah they are saying it is now the fastest production bike, taking the hayabusa and the zx14's long coveted spot. More bhp, less weight, and reasonably priced. Sat on one and they feel really light and compact. They are only like $1200 more than the R1 for the base model. They don't have all the trick stuff that BMWs normally have, but that's probably how they kept the cost so low. They have rubber brake hoses, inexpensive wheels, brembo calipers but nissin components, etc. Very nice bike though.

I agree that this thing is a beast and prob should take bike of the year............... but Ill still take my 14 or a hayabusa. Cause even though the beemer may have higher numbers to throw down i know its not as comfortable.......... just my opinion though
