this is the response I finally got:

lol

Quote:
I want to thank you for the interest in my bike . I am selling this bike , because it used to belong to my husband, Josh,
and now that we are finalizing the divorce, I want to get rid of many things that were his that belong to me now. In fact, I
don't have any drive license. Josh used to work at a very reputable automotive shop which has been approved by AAA autos. The
final price for this bike is $2,900, I'm sure it is a reasonable price and I want to let you know that it is in very good
condition, because he didn't drive it too much and when he did, he kept it clean and he never had any incidents with it. The
engine is running in perfect condition, it has no scratches or any flaws of any kind. I am fairly confident that it will be
very hard to find any bike that is as nice as this one for cheaper.
Here are some more details about the bike so that you can make an idea about it.

Here is how this transaction will work:
First of all I will be needing the following details from you: your Full Name, your Address, shipping Address and your Phone
Number. After I will receive the details from you, I will forward them to eBay. After they will process your info, their
staff will send both of us an invoice. The invoice will come to you with the details on how to make a refundable payment.
eBay will contact me as soon as you will deposit the money and I will ship the bike to you. After you receive the bike you
will have 5 days to test, verify and do whatever you need to the bike As you can see, you will receive the bike BEFORE any
money is released to me. About the shipping fee, it is included in the price, so you will have to pay $2,900 for the bike +
title transfer . If you wish to make the transaction, please send me the necessary info so that we can proceed. I look forward to hear from
you. If, for some reason, you disagree with the bike (I assure you that is NOT going to happen since my bike is in IMMACULATE
condition ) it will be shipped back to me on MY EXPENSE and eBay will send you your money back.
I live in 15 S 62nd St Philadelphia, PA 19139, and here is the bike too. It is available at the price of $2,900 with all
transfer taxes included, including title transfer. I have a contract with Craigslist.org/eBay.com so this deal must go through them. I'm very busy with my divorce process that is why I will be out of town for couple of days, taking care of it, so I can't meet in person with you. That is also the
reason why I have chosen to sell my bike over the Internet. According with the eBay you have 5 days from the time you
receive the bike to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not. I know that the best deal it's to meet you in
person, but believe me, i don't have time to meet every potential buyer during this divorce process, it is very important for
me to win it. Also, i can't trust anybody in this moment to give my phone number, i don't want somebody to take advantage of
being a weakness, just because I'm in the middle of divorce process.

There is no better example of net-scam... ethiopian likely - consider the language....

and using Ebay without using Ebay is impossible.... they don't do it.

Besides - shipping the bike would cost the same amount as that price of the bike....

I thought you could ship a bike pretty much all the way across the country for about $500, no?
