Picked up some gear today

Picked up a Field Sheer Mesh jacket on closeout $60, Sidi Vertigo Air boots, and Joe Rocket GPX gloves. Waiting on getting that full leather jacket so this jacket will work. Better than what I had (which was lid and cheap gloves). The gloves that I did have they told me at Motorcycles Unlimited today they were on a scale for 1 (bear hands) to ten (Well protected) were about a 2 1/2.

The Sidi boot are very comfortable. Might slap some dr scholls in them just cause. The only thing that i'm lacking will be some pants or some knee pads. Will be getting some pants shortly I hope. Just wanted to share this cause this is my first gear to ever have worth haveing. Thanks for all of yalls feed back when I posted that I was going to go buy some gear. Can't wait to go ride now with a little more safety security in mind.

yeah knee pads are about $20-30 and well worth it!!!

I dont wanna thread jack, but gotta question.... I got knee pads and boots. boots come up high and knee pads go down low. whats the solution for that? the knee pads go into the boots a little bit...

There are shorter models available for shin guards; otherwise I've seen alot of the women riders w us wear them on the outside of their jeans so they dont have to slide them into the boots.

I know you are, sorry. I was just adding more detail then necessary. Guys tend to hide all the gear they wear; I suppose although we recommend knee pads on all our rides we still plant plenty of knee pad jokes
