18 to join the military.. 4 year contract or a 6 year contract....


Only veterans can join... so when you're out you will be over 21.. so uh it's kinda pointless isn't it?.... I'm 20 but still active duty.. I want my CHL :(


(Don't need one in the state I am in though)

Thanks for passing on the information.. in Alaska we don't need a CHL and by the time I leave AK I'll be 21 so the information doesn't apply to me.......

Military and retirees can sign up to take the class for $20. I visited one a couple of years ago at Camp Mabry in Austin.

Ahh, yeah I just saw the prices and was like wtf, theres no way that adds up to that much and I added it up and I was right but didn't notice the per year deal. Sorry
