New Air Intake

I'm starting to look around and see what i can do about getting a new air filter system.
I have an '04 Hondat VTX 1300 C. Stripped down (no logos), long shot gun pipes, all black, grave digger fender.
Can anybody suggest something that may look good?

you could always do the cone filter with chrome accents that a lot of choppers do.

remind me, is that bike carbed or FI?

You go with that hi-flo cone filter, you'll probably have to re-jet the carb (if one) especially if you havn't already with the exhaust on there.

it's carbed. and it was never re-jetted after getting the new pipes on in the first place. so if i get a nice cone, i'll have to re-jet it, but it may be worth it since it wasn't done the first time

ya your bike would benefit from a re-jet after that.

Thunder Mfg. makes some pretty sweet intakes as well. Or, if ya wanna do it on the cheap, you can just go buy 2 pod filters, slap 'em on top of your carbs and get rid of the factory airbox and all that plumbing underneath the tank...

Whatever you do, you're gonna need a rejet. You open up the intake even a tad without a rejet and you're gonna run like sh*t
