New Find: 34YO XR75 (not 56K friendly)

Had a barn find the other day. Original owner 1976 Honda XR75, used very little and totally unmolested. Everything is original, fasteners, decals, rubber grommets, plastic straps, seat cover, paint, you name it, it's all original (except for the tires and the air filter which disintegrated).

Dvlracer spent a good portion of the day with me yeaterday cleaing it up and getting it ready to run. Carb had tons of varnish built-up from old gas etc. Started it up and it runs like a champ. Pretty amazing condition, considering that Geral Ford was President, I was still in high school and most MH members weren't even born yet when it was built.

Here are some photos and a video of it cleaned up.

Definitely a sweet bike. It was fun tearing it apart, getting it all cleaned up and seeing it start. Sucker has some power for a mid 70's bike!

The bike needs a little bit more work on some minor stuff (i.e., float needle doesn't seat or float tab needs adjustment, left grip is bad).

I'll probably sell it (hopefully to a collector). It's a survivor and I'd hate to see it flogged to death by some kid. BTW: I have the pink slip too.

Tim - I'm always open to sale or trade. Just PM me if interested.
