The CBR doesn't have a bypass switch for the ABS, but you can pull the fuse

Especially in less than perfect road conditions.

Wouldn't want the extra weight on a track/race bike though.

Besides testing it, I've used it a couple of times in real world situations. Was accelerating towards an intersection when I noticed I had a yellow. Had trouble deciding if I wanted to run the red light, or stop. I finally decided to stop at the last second. I hit the brakes very hard. I was successful in not breaking the law

You can't lock up the wheels. I don't do endos so I don't know if it can be done or not

Well... The front wheel doesn't lock when you do endos. So it should still work.

I think the rear would be great.

For the front, most wont get into a situation where they lock up the front that much; regardless of what's coming at us in the back of our mind we'd rather hit vs go over the handlebars.
