No matter what you do, if it puts a roof over your head, food on the table, gas in the tank, cloths on your back, your good to go.

When i was at FT Riley there was a church that was basicly a cult. They would go as far as to lock you in the church all weekend, IE actually chain the doors closed. So anyways they used to get new soldiers to come there and they would use them as a "recruiting tool". They would come by your house in uniform and everything, even though that is against regs. They loved coming by my apt on saturday mornings. So i would make it a point to open the door shirtless, with a beer and my .357 Mag in my waistband. They never seemed to want to talk too much to me. The funny thing is that they would always send new people to my door every week.

Ohh and atleast B.S. doesnt do that U R spelling . that drives me insane.

I very politely explain that there are "No Soliciting" signs at both ends of the subdivision and that it's not allowed. Then I watch and see where they go next.

If they go around the corner, I let it go. If they go to my neighbor's house, I call the cops. Katy PD actually enjoys it. Got two of em arrested last month (they must've had warrants).

And for those about to blast me, I figure I gave em a chance. Like I said, if they go around the corner, I let it go. But if they blow me off and go to the neighbors, screw em.

Also, don't forget, sometimes these are actually thieves casing the neighborhoods (whose at home during the day, what can you see inside, etc.)

im sick and tired of people who say they are students coming around selling , talking about how if they sell so much they get a scholarship---and all kinda other bullshit, then they say well its free, and i say dude nothins free, i dont want it ----but then they keep on trying and it me off, cuz they are wasting my oxygen then i say dude i said no, then they keep on with ----well you can cancel it later if you dont want it anymore ------only to find out that they will not cancel unless they have a written request to do so mailed to them, which by then they have screwed you out of another month of money-------at which point im at a loss for any human like response and say leave me the **** alone g/d and get the off my property------SLAM--

the local news team did a semi investigative story on people going around selling stuff saying they were UT students when they werent , pretty funny , they got cold busted on the street selling

being in sales.. i know how hard it is and can be... so I give them a shot... but i make it quick...

after they introduce themselves.. i tell them they have 30 seconds to interest me ... then if i'm not interested... i give them advice for the next house, and how they can better their pitch
