Congrats! nice old bike and Awesome New bike. i just Bought A Yellow/Black 08 my self. Wind noise is all you hear until you reach anything past 6k on the rpms. then its Warp 2 speed and your not paying attention to the sound. the bike its too scary quit untill you hit 4k on rps and the flap opens up. Congrats again on getting a big boy bike.

I got to say my 87 VFR is absolutely fun to ride, while my wife's little ninja 500r is uncomfortable. But then again, my VFR is at Patrick's to get two new tires and find out why when it stales in gear, it has to be in neutral to restart it, instead of just holding the clutch in and down shifting it to first.

YEAH NEW TIRES, bad starter.......

I was in full gear so I didnt get any road rash(full gear FTW) ... did land on my right knee both times though... my knee was locked up for almost 2 weeks... but some how I manage to run the houston marathon less than a month later
Knee still hurts but getting better every day!
