Cracked knee cap, tore ACL and cut MCL in half

Yea, it sucks for sure. 10yrs ago they replaced the knee cap on my other leg.
Been that long since a serious injury so pretty lucky I guess.

I need a x-box so I can chill at house. I have a issue with sitting and doing nothing. It drives me nuts.

So can we have the story please?

Helps everyone by passing your experience along and all. Understandable if you don't want to though.

I was on my 06 KX450F after cleaning up from riding all day. The e-clip on needle broke somehow and slide stuck wide open. of course I grabbed the clutch and got front end down. One front end came down, it washed out and hit knee first.

I was SO ticked off. A 30 cent clip cost me thousands in med bills.

Total freak thing to happen.

reminds me how a friend was doing a track day about 15 years ago, riding along, and ....the world exploded, bike went to the ground, spitting my friend off like a nusaince. after not finding anything wrong, wondered what was locking up the front wheel. (thinking it was post crash issues)

come to find out a tiny rock was able to pass thru the cooling/drilled hole on the front disk, and stick out far enough on both sides to come into contact with both pads. brake pads had a deathstar thermal exhaust port sized trench in both of em.

freaky can happen. glad you are ok, and in the healing process, with what could have been more injuries (easily)...

glad you shared with us.
