I'd suggest taking the part from the 4th pic of the first set, and mouting it on the wall like a deer-head.

Dont buy a toy if you can afford the hobby.

Not wanting to wear gear is much differnt than saying I cant afford gear when you are on a what is that an 8-9k honda 1k... Yopu can be in a full leather suit for 400 bucks if you choose too.

Good luck to him on healing, and you on getting gear. Sorry he trashed his ride, that was one clean bike!

I cant believe it when I hear about bikes with notes and no full coverage. Ignorance sure can be expensive.

I hate your friend. That's my friend's dream bike and he's already buying gear to get ready for it. Some people just don't appreciate

If it is under 10k, most notes are designated more like a credit card, so full coverage is not required and the rates are higher because the collateral is considered disposable.

no it's not either of our first bikes, just an accident that could have been prevented. He had a GSXR 1000 before his R1, and he was pulling 3rd gear wheelies no problems, something just went wrong when he was going to do it this time.

Can happen to the best of us... Hopefully the lesson learned is to ALWAYS gear up.

Nah, trust me, landing in the water isn't fun. I've seen me do it.

As for no ticket, that's what I thought when i crashed; then I had one mailed to me!

Anyway, glad he is ok.

I can give you an idea of what went wrong... he was trying to pull a wheelie on a public road.
