Why does everyone that don't even ride try to give advice on how and where to ride? And why does everyone tell me stories about people gettin hurt and or dying. i hate when people start talking to me about riding and they cant even get the bike off of the kick stand. Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

You need to more friends that ride You answered your own question. People that don't ride always have stories about people getting hurt or dying.

well when they tell you where to ride, ask them if they want to go riding with you there. its a way to point out the fact they dont have wheels. then you just look dissapointed in them like they arent cool anymore say "oh..." and walk off.

i find alot of the people hurt/dying stories have similar key elements like "he was doing 150 on this side road" and "he wasnt wearing a helmet", oh and "he was drunk". you respond to those by pointing out how stupid that was and then asking them why they have had such stupid friends.
