I graduated from there a couple of years ago. Didn't have a bike yet so I didn't get a chance to use the Moto parking.

I was wondering how parking is at UH Main for Motorcycles. Thanks for the info, I plan on riding there to utilize the HOV lanes and what not next fall. Is there alot of moto parking available? Is there stuff you can lock your bike to? I know that the area around UH Main is a bit rough and I was wondering about how safe a bike would be there.

i park by the lib and almost always there is parking there. once or twice it was full but you can park to the side a bit.... not really much about locking the bike up, but if your there during the day you dont have to worry about anything happening to your bike (people are always walking by the lib and would see something happening).

When I worked for a motorcycle shop a few years ago we had a regular white pickup with no signs or stickers or anything to identify it belonged to the shop. We would regularly pick up bikes for service and only one time out of maybe 20 did I EVER have someone ask what we were doing. Even that one time we told them we were picking the bike up for service and they didnt ask anything else.

^^^thats true also. people usually go with their own business and never do anything about it....

well UH has been good to me with my bike and parking. as far as locking it up, you can lock it up to a light pole (there is one right by bike parking at the lib)...

What time is your class(s), where do you park, and what days are your class(s)... Those are things I would leave out.

I have been going there for two years and have been parking my bikes in the lot across from the indoor swimming pool. Never had a problem. FYI, dont park your bike near the science/engineering building (you know, where the bicycles park), I had an early morning class and got a ticket parking there last year. Only $20 but still sucked though. Hope this helps.

I'm at Main Campus and I hate riding there. Even moto parking is getting cluster
F-ed and I see people knocking mirrors and plastics with backpacks/purses on a daily basis. I'm a senior at Bauer BTW, so I can't comment on the engineering/arch buildings.
