Welcome. Take it easy and I hope you spend a good amount on gear in the beginning. It will save you in the long run.

BTW...Busas are said to not corner well.

Welcome.

Have you taken the MSF to get your license?
Awesome Cycles is right up the road on Kuykendahl before Rankin, it's now state law that you take the course to get your license.

A Busa for a first bike is certainly a handful. I'm not saying that someone can''t have one for a first bike and not get hurt, but history show the odds are against you.
Respect the bike and it's awesome amount of power and do not become complacent and you may be alright.

I'd also highly recommend getting gear; helmet, jacket, gloves and boots.
If you swing by here and let us know you're with MH we can help get you outfitted and give you an MH discount.

Thanks for the welcome everyone and concern....I'm a pretty big guy and I don't want to start off on a 600 then have to upgrade soon after. It's hard as to get a bike loan these days with my credit and I finally got one. I haven't committed to the Busa, they have some CBR 1000's also so I'll give it all some thought.
Shout out to motorcycles unlimited, I've been there a few times and fixed the cable in one the guys homes who works there.

how big are you?lol. i used to live on 1960 at 45, my names mike and most in the vw audi community know me as "big mike". but i bought a daytona 675 for a first bike. the power isnt the only reason for not buying such a large moto for your first. learning to turn along with throttle control because it is a large part of cornering a moto would be my concern. manipulating such a large machine is my concern for you as a new rider. buy a 750 maybe? or a daytona 675, lol. seriously tho, make a conscious decision. people loose their lives with 2 wheels beneath them rather easily. and all too often in this community. good luck, and have fun either way. there is this guy called cali, only he can manipulate such a machine, lol

I know i know guys, Im sorry "BigMike" and Dave C.......I was in a bad mood last night and I'm just tired of seein all these "Noob R.I.P" Threads.....I mean it makes me sad but at the same time angry cause all these people dont do their research (Actual Research) on Motorcycles and such, again sorry if I offended anyone but sometimes the only way to get thru to some people is Tough Love. Thats all it was......sorry again dude.

P.S. Dave C aint goin to slap , I promise lol
