It is a new thing. I'm a racetire distributor, and leave the street tires to the shops and stealerships......i mean dealerships

My first suggestion is to check out Motorcycles Unlimited, they offer a MH discount and I trust them to mount & balance the tires without up your rims and everything to be done right the first time.

Hmm I get treated great. I know exactly what is going on. I am in "the know" on pretty much everything. And I make good money. It's been a blessing to me. How do you think I get all those Car Faxs for everybody

My buddy just "accidentally" caught a nail in his rear tire. Amazingly right before he went below 3/32nds.. Mancuso honored the tire warranty he purchased from them. I will mention as well, that his tire didn't pull a good 3/32 reading consistently, and that they were not obligated to look for that "magic spot" on the tire that did meet the warranty criteria. In my mind those guys went the extra mile. Not to mention my boy knew he had pushed that tire past the limit and was prepared to pay for a new one, but of course hoping to get lucky.

All in all, they took care of him, even when it was within their rights to not do so.

If you buy warranties, ask questions up front, not after the fact. There are ways and loopholes to get warranties to work out in your favor if you are proactive.

Oh yeah, and you gotta know how to talk to people.

As a side note, I'm pretty sure Mancuso dealerships don't give a rat's about whether your tire gets warrantied or not, they have nothing to gain by denying your claim because they don't pay for the new tire - a third party warranty company does. So truly, your beef is with the tire warranty company rather than Mancuso. The dealership can't help it if your tire doesn't meet the warranty company's criteria.
