It just didnt feel right.........

Ever get on your bike and things just dont feel right? I rode in this am and felt great. Got on for the ride home and nothing "felt" right. Even worse is the further i went the more uncomfortable i became. I mean I pulled over like 3 times to make sure everything was ok ( tire psi chain etc etc ) and it was.

Ever had this happen? Just me?

I've had it happen before where I feel like my tire was flat. Stopped to check and everything was good, can never have a comfortable ride after that.

I remember a few years back driving to College Station I got that same feeling but was in my truck. I pulled over and took a few mins just to gather myself. Got back on the road and apparently I had just missed an accident up ahead that I could have been in if I had not stopped.

I heard a comedian talking about feelings.

He said that when it comes to touchy feely, emotional interaction women have a giant radar dish on top of their heads that constantly sweeps the room for every nuance, the sightest telltale emotion.
Men on the other hand have a bent coat hanger with aluminum foil on it.

The only thing we really feel is pain and .

So, the point is...

Being as how I'm a REAL man I never felt what you are talking about. (sometimes I just pull over to look at stuff, that's all).

This happens to me sometimes as well. Sometimes it feels it doesn't turn right or its a weird noise. The dumbest thing I do sometimes is right to the neighborhood store with no helmet and think I hear weird noises I haven't heard before...well of course I do because I don't have a helmet on. Stupid.

I stand still and the world moves around me when I ride. But then again the world revolves around me.

JK... As everyone mentioned it does happen. Check your sugar or caffienne levels, take some deep breaths and observe more caution till you get to your destination.

I got that same feeling the other day for the first time.. I stopped numerous times to check out the tires, possible loose nuts or bolts. I couldn't figure it out.

Weird.

I just went through this this morning. I Installed a new Ohlins shock and new rear tire this weekend on my 1100xx but when I went out this morninng for my commute in to work (first time on the bike since the change this weekend) I had this nagging urge to recheck the axle and shock mount bolts. Even after checking both I still had that strange senese that I had forgotten something.

Once underway, I focused on the change in ride due to the new shock.
