GSXR electronic damper question

What is the opperating volatage range for the solenoid that controls the damper?

I'm thinking using it on the SV650 and hooking up a rheostat to it so I can dial in a damp rate.

Thanks

Hmmm I have no idea. Just get a ohlins off of a zx10. I've found em on eBay for 75 bucks before. And they work great

It will either bolt right up or you'll have to buy one brkt. I have one on my 750 and one on my 600

back to my original question though ... a solenoid is pretty much an on-off rotary switch right? so how does the GSXR ECU control it? It can be a graduated thing, so could I rig up a switch to simply toggle the solenoid?

A quick one

the stock ecu controls the stiffness of the dampner in direct relation to current speed. faster your go stiffer it gets. If its a newer gsxr the speed is usually measured off the countershaft sproket.
