People weren't staying away from that guy in katy when he was mounting their for free. Or working on their bikes for free.

But that's how the cookie crumbles I guess. As long as I'm gettin something free, we cool.

Do you know of one that has a balancer w/motorcycle spacer? Most can't balance them with "their" normal car/truck balancing equipment. I'm sure some can, but the OP would want to double check first.

Taking the rims off the bike is a bit un-nerving at first, but super-easy once you get the hang of it. I'd try searching youtube. Internet is the knowledge and the powa! Go get you some.

Whoever is monitoring the thread is being a real jerk for removing my comment. If a shop royally screws up a brand new set of uber-expensive OZ rims then everyone has the right to know when they ask where they should go to get tires. There is a plastic guard that keeps it from happening when changing a tire. If a shop doesn't want to use those then they get a bad reputation and rightfully deserve it. Discount motorcycle tire Discount motorcycle tire Discount motorcycle tire.

oh yeah they are the worst about scratching wheels!!!

They used an impact to tighten my axle nut, so the next time I was there I asked the guy to use a torque wrench....
He rudely replies "We don't have one"
Me: "your a motorcycle shop, I seriously hope you have a torque wrench..."
Tire guy: after going to get one, he asked another employee how to use it.... LOL!!! He looks at me and says "how tight"
Me: in the most azzhole voice I could pull off, I leaned in and says "65!, would you like me to show you how to use your tools?"

They were and I still ended up with scratched wheels. Discount Motorcycle tire on a scale to 1-10..... I rate it a -3
