actually i forgot about HPD's plane. and yes they DO have have one. i was not allowed to take pictures of it, during my recent trip for heli details on a RC heli I am working on,

ANY plane in the air, other than a civilian airline COULD be HPD.

Fark that. I'd prefer more runners as long as they are organ donors.

Gonna need a new liver from somebody....

You've watched Gone in 60 Seconds one too many times.

ive always hear that dumb statement . At IAH there is a huge police station and they would love nothing more than for you to come running into the airport . Plus most of the entrances into the airport do not interfer with flights . If you run 170 to get away it better be on 10 miles of perfectly straight road because the helo can fly straight as an arrow ......

I for one am really glad that this poor guy didn't wreck out. ONLY cause it wasnt his bike since he stole it!!!! Now if he jumped off and took off running and happened to run in front of a speeding semi, then it'd have been a perfect ending.

Though I love the whole "what you should do story" very entertaining. Last I checked HPD has 3 birds, and its really not that difficult to get permission to fly into the airport air space when in pursuit. But has a very entertaining thought never the less. lol 170, where the f*ck in Houston can you go 170?!?! Traffic sucks

With FLIR on all HPD 'Copters, what is the advantage of running at night vs day?

I like the fact they followed with a chopper instead of a high speed close persuit that a lot of time kills someone like happens here in houston all the time.
Besides the fact that most of the chase took place on the highway in the middle of the freaking desert, the traffic conditions were just like those found in Houston, TX Also, the rider knew that he was being chased by a chopper because he kept looking up at the TV station's bird. He was still hauling and trying to get away.
