Motorcycle chase in AZ...Nobody died or got hurt...mabye Houston could take a lesson.

http://www.myfoxhouston.com/dpps/new...obref=obinsite

I like the fact they followed with a chopper instead of a high speed close persuit that a lot of time kills someone like happens here in houston all the time.

Weather & time permitting, the helicopter is always a part of chases and notifies patrol units of traffic conditions, suspect location, etc...

What you 'heard' most likely came from a future organ donor.

You should give it a try and let us know how that works out for you. These days you never see security or police at airports

chopper or not.. i hear you have EXACTLY one minute until the call gets through dispatch and you have every cop in the city lookin for you. so get where you gotta go, park and hide.

I think its a lot quicker than 1 minute. Radio transmissions have gotten pretty quick in the past 50+ yrs....

several things to consider:

1.you never know if a bird is nearby your vicinity

2. if the heli is parked, an cold. less than 5 minutes bedore its off.

3.correct, police heli cant go 170 mph.... but they have 2 things going for them.
a. "ALTITUDE"......this critical
b. "line of sight"...not as critcal. 500feet up, and they can see for miles and miles.

4. radio- nothing can outrun a radio trnasmission.

Turn, go, stop, turn, go, stop, hide. Anything else results in unnecessary risks to the general public, felony charges, possible death and dismemberment.
