HELP!! What happened to my bike???!!!

So, I took Mr. Nasty out for the first time today. I rode about 3 miles around the neighborhood, never went out of 1st gear, and never got above 25mph. I stayed mostly around 15mph. It felt like it rode fine. I get home and park the bike and am looking it over and notice this:

(see the tube hanging out of the bottom of the bike)

Now, I did not notice this before and I have been staring at the bike all week, I think I would have noticed if it was like that before I took it out.

So I grab a flashlight and look closer to see what (if anything) it was connected to and it looks like the thing was sliced or something.

This last pic is what I saw when I looked up under the bike. It looks like the tube hanging out was once part of this tube. (?)

The separation is so clean. What is this tube and what happened to my bike and what do I need to do now????? HELP!!!

So there are two of those? Because one is hanging out the bottom of my bike and the other is up under it.

So it's really nothing?

I am googling FZ6 images and I don't see any other FZ6s with this tube hanging out the bottom.

???

Yes I may sound paranoid I don't care this bike is my new baby.

those hoses come loose all the time, there should be some plastic clamps for them to be held up by, but it's very common for them to come out and just hang

It's supposed to be like that. Don't worry. My bike has 3 hoses hanging off the bottom.

One is a cent for the tank so the inner chamber doesn't impload when the gas expands w heat. Second is an overfill and drain when water gets between the two chambers, third is for coolany overfill if equiped.

I recommend going over the bike w an experienced individual so they can point out maintenance, safety check items and overall bike mechanics.

Most guys are too head strong to ask questions etc and would rather cope vs being informed. And make sure you speak w someone that infacts knows. I love meeting people and from far off telling them their bike is dangerous even though "its been that way since I got it 2yrs ago". Lol.

Gl and never stop asking questions. The more you know the better and safer your ride will be.
