i think you hold down the bc and it'll change to clock, then the one that resets the odometer twist the one next to that to the right sounds confusing lol

Set the OBC on the stalk to display the time in the cluster, twist the right post (on the cluster) to adjust the time.

Anything else just ask. I had 3 of those and my mom had another 3 E46s. If you are working on it I also have a Bentley manual so you can ask pretty much anything. I suggest that you also look for one.

Other sites I suggest would be:
www.bavspeed.com (local but slow)
www.e46fanatics.com (E46 centric)
www.bimmerforums.com (I'm on there)
www.bimmerfest.com
www.roadfly.com

there is a lot more.

Also you might want to look into BMW-CCA membership.

Hopefully it has the added option installed already. If not it is prewired for it, but you would need to get the module and install it. Press the button on the steering wheel and see if it does anything 1st. If you don't have it installed it is a facelifted E46 and is prewired for it.

If it is installed, set the ignition to position 2 and use set your phone to search for BT devices; it'll ask for a BT passcode which is 5678 (it should be). If not then you will have a BT passcode card somewhere in the operators manual packet in the glovebox.

Here is a Wiki that might help:

BMWCCA is fun, I was in the St. Louis chapter for a few years in college. Went to Octoberfest in my wife's new E36 coupe. Got first overall in the autocross and got to run Loudon (NHIS) Speedway, including 1/2 of the oval!!! Hitched a ride in a BMW M1 race car for one lap. Woohoo! Also won my first and last horse racing bet, covered most of the trip. Those were the days....no kids, dual income, new BMW's, testosterone. I still miss my old 320i from college.
