I signed up for Sat/Sun. Hoping to do 170's. It would be awesome if I could make it to 180.

With a stock motor + bolt ons, you don't want to go with taller than stock gearing. You'll never pull it in a standing mile. Better off keeping stock or even a little deeper.

And you'll need to defeat the 186 mph limiter..

And btw. I bought all of the nitrous I will need to ensure (fingers crossed) a 200+ pass.
You'll need a minimum of a 40 shot with your HP. Don't gear it too tall.. figure out the gear you need to hit the limiter at around 205-210 and go with that.

I have seen an 08 break 200 with pretty much the same mods I have. I think he went 204-204 He has Brocks, ceramic bearings, MR9, 41 rear, and a Bazzaz with a tune.

At the Texas mile? Because usually everyone runs a little faster at other venues like Maxton than down here.

but unless you get a tailwind for them semi-stock bikes don't expect 200mph at texas
I think he had that tailwind you speak of

Sorry I missed this thread guys, I don't have much time to get online anymore.

If you are running stock tire on a Gen-II 18/41 is the hot ticket (with basic bolt-on's). If you've got a 55-tire than stock gearing is fine. I wouldn't run 18-40 if you've got stock chain/swing arm because you'll have to take a link out of your chain to be able to adjust it. Aftermarket arm/chain go for it if you've got the power...

Even without the wind, if you've got the HP you can pull it depending on your weight. It's all about the tuck and setup.

As far as fuel, MR9 is the way to go if you are stock motor N/A. It's worth about 6rwhp with a proper tune. With similar mods as my build expect 198-201 with perfect conditions (zero tail/crosswind) if you are 200lbs or less. It doesn't take much to drop a lot of MPH on the big end.

I'll be there in March so if anyone has any questions or needs any help with there Gen-II, let me know...

Like maybe 10hp over pump
I hope you have the fuel system upgrades to run E85 or you're going to have big problems. Turbo setup is completely different than N/A gains with E85...

DO NOT run E85 is a stock or lightly modded BUSA.....PERIOD!
