Need help with an 11 digit vin number

I have been trying to get some information on a vin number but i cant find anything that can search 11 digit vin numbers
any advice on websites where i can try and get a report for a vin like this?
mostly im just trying to find some more information on the car.if its been recked, original engine, place of birth ect...
any help is greatly appreciated

You could also try calling the DMV and asking them for a VIN check.

tried calling the dmv the other day but no luck...

yes sir its a 73 maverick....

still cant find any other info other than the basic stuff which i already know, like the year make and model.
i think my best bet is to call ford up on monday and see if they can help me decode the vin
