I will tell ya there is a huge difference between an 05 Busa and a 08 Busa. They made many changes after 07. There is an 08 here for 6500. Its a of a deal.

no one will agree to payments.

Either get a cheap 2k bike or wait and save. Otherwise go through a credit union/lein holder.

How about if I just give you the money for a new bike? I have too much of it laying around anyway. The piles of money are taking up space that I need for my next bike and M's next bike too.

I'm sorry for butting in, when I don't have any bike to help you, but getting a loan to buy your uncles bike isn't an option? I assume that his bank has the title since you say you took over payment. Just formalize it. Get a loan and the title transfers from his bank to your bank. You own the bike and then you can insure it. I don't know the whole story, but that seems like the simplest solution to me.

Is the problem paying for your uncles bike or insuring it?

If insurance have you shopped around?

Some companies will insure you and a vehicle that is someone elses name.

That does not make since. I have a bike and it is in my fathers name due to my divorce and I have it insured in my name.
