That bike is tastefully done as is...the wheels are not that "bling", they bring out the color of the bike and really work. Probably lighter too as mentioned before. The akra looks very good as well, why waste money on a high mount with an open classer speed demon which is not going to be leaned over nearly enough to need the extra ground clearance. Plus, the 12 is a good bike for hauling passengers...always nice to keep the option open.

I agree on the undertail, but watch out for the swingarm plate relocation I have gotten tickets for that from HPD. Best place for it is to bolt it to the undertail using a bracket, with a small light for illumination. Dont buy rear sets until you've lived with the bike for a while and really feel like you need to move your feet up and back. Chances are the stock position will be the best for riding.

it doesnt matter, i dont have an extra 1500.00 to keep all the mods on it....
about the high mount, its for looks... plus im a so i dont have passengers, ever!

i thought as long as the plate is mounted above and behind the rear axle your safe... you could get outta that case by calling the courthouse.

no worries, that case was part of an HPD multiticket (failing to signal lane change, speeding, yada yada) that was fully sprecher'd.

The cop told me that it needs to be on the "rear of the vehicle"...as he pointed to the back of the undertail. Of course, every cop is different when it comes to bike tickets. Just letting you know FYI, when it's quota week they're likely to stop you for anything.
