Help with which Battery Tender to choose

Can you guys help my noob self out.

I am going to pick up a Battery Tender for my wr450 but I don't know if I need the 6volt or the 12volt.

For those of you who are wondering, I got all of it taken care of. They "retuned" the carb for me, and I also had my cousin help me switch the throttle stop bolt out and disconnect the gray wire which makes the bike use the YZ map instead of the WR.

Thanks for your help

12volt

Do they even MAKE a 6 volt?
If they do it is for antique cars. Everything is 12volt since at least the sixties.

My .02 is get Battery Tender brand. I have 3 of them and they work great. No switches just plug them in, with the included pigtail attached to the battery and your good to go.
New batteries are expensive enough that it's not something I would skimp on. Tires same thing, get the good stuff and you won't regret it later.

Does anyone sell just the Battery Tender pigtails? I managed to sell one of the bikes that I had installed the BT, and the guy has made all sorts of excuses not to return.

I need just the pigtails, plus it would allow you to use the BT on multiple vehicles.

Yep, depending on the modle of tender I keep them in stock.

I've had good results with Battery Tender brand and the Yuasa 900ma tender.
I keep the Yuasa in stock.

I have the Battery Tender, and might like to get 2-3 extra pigtails. What are the pigtails running? I can not imagine they would be very expensive.

I was at Northern Tool the other day and got a tender.. they had the pigtails for $10 each, with fuse. They all are close enough to interchange from what I've seen.
